Pond Info
Simon’s Dream comes true

"I have wanted my own koi pond since I was a teenager, finally in 2006 everything fell into place and the build began. Luckily for me I found a man with a mini digger and dumper to make things easy, after three 16 ton grab Lorries my hole was complete. Boy had we made a mess of the wife’s lawn, but it was too late now so the build continued. Mostly diy but with the help of a bricklayer we managed to get the job finished before winter kicked in. Well apart from the week when Dave Arnold came round to do the fibre glassing. That week we had wind, rain, sleet and hail, but undaunted Dave kept coming back until the job was complete, thanks to him for doing a great job. Then came the worrying part, filling it up. Knowing my previous history with plumbing I kept my fingers crossed, but 24hours and some 6000 gallons later the pond was full. After a few weeks off the landscaping began and one year later with a new lawn down and a pergola over the pond, I am happy to say the job is complete.  Well until the next upgrade…"
