Martin's 5th Pond Build

"Yo, this is actually my 5th pond, after first starting keeping koi over twenty years ago. Almost all of this pond was built by myself, apart from the facing bricks and fibre glassing.  It was even dug out by hand as well, filling 8 10 ton skips. Above the pond is a pergola which is now covered with poly-carb sheeting, and willow shading. The pond blends in with the garden with the round shaped back walls.  Sitting in the garden in the summer evenings with the pergola lights on is my favourite.  Having a beer whilst feeding the koi is what this hobby is all about."
