There's still time to enter our fantastic Grow & Show Competition. Closing date for entry is 30th April 2008, where we will be making the selection draw at our next club meeting.

Entry fee is £35 per koi. Unlimited entries per person allowed, and must be paid for before the selection draw date.

Selection of the koi will be on Saturday 10th May 2008. You will be allotted a selection time based on the draw made at the next club meeting. If needed then selection may run over to Sunday 11th May 2008, depending on the number of entries.

All entries will be allowed 10 min's selection time per koi, and can be of any variety of koi available for selection. Each entrant will be allowed to net only two koi per entry for close inspection.

Selected koi will be photographed and measured at time of purchase and the details recorded on this page.

Photographs of the grown on koi will then have to be submitted by the owner before the closing date deadline (still to be agreed). Help can be made available if required.

The winner will be chosen by 3 judges, who will mark the koi out of 100, 25 points for size difference, 40 points for overall development and 35 points for quality in variety. All 3 judges scores will be combined and the koi with the highest score will be declared the winner.

Prize presentation will be made at the xmas party night 2009.

* n.b. Prize of £500 Richdon Koi Vouchers is dependant on getting 50 entries. Should the number of entries be less then the prize will be pro-rata.
