An early start (for most) saw 10 members of EMKC take a trip up the notorious M6 to Wigan. The club were invited to visit the site of Evolution Aqua’s head office in Kellet Close. On our arrival, Mike Shaw was at the reception to greet us. After a very warm welcome we were led to the indoor pond area where trials had taken place of the EA ONE1 revolutionary ‘all year round’ Koi food. Overlooking the 3 ponds, Jasper Kuijper gave us an exclusive and informative talk about the trials and incredible growth results associated with EA ONE1 .

From the pond area we were taken to the main factory which houses the ‘state of the art’ Rotor Moulding Machine that manufactures the Nexus and Eazy range of pond filters.
There Mike gave us a demonstration of the Rotor Moulding Machine in action producing an Eazy Pod right before our eyes in an incredible 18 minutes.

This was followed by a superbly informative question and answer session on EA products past, present and future.
