The East Midlands Koi Club Winter Show is a BKKS 'Open' Show. This means that the show is open to anyone wanting to exhibit their koi. We are currently asking for people wanting to show their koi to contact us to register their interest. We will then be sending out official vat application forms in June. Please see below for more details.

To Apply for a vat please contact the Show Secretary, Martin Barntett (Mushio) via email :- mushio@tiscali.co.uk

Martin will send you confirmation by email of your request for a vat and add you to the list of exhibitors or waiting list if all available vats have been taken. In June we will be sending out the offical vat application forms and full show details. The cost of a vat for the 2010 Winter Show is £30 per vat.

Vat Allocation

• We will be opertating a one vat per exhibitor policy to increase the number of exhibitors and share the available prizes fairly.

• East Midlands Koi Club Members will receive priority vat booking.

• Should we receive cancellations nearer the time then vats will be offered to anyone who is on the waiting first.

• If there are still vats remaining after this then EMKC members will be offered to take more than one vat to avoid empty vats.

• Koi exhibited in vats must stricktly adhere to the point system set out in the BKKS rules. Any exhibitor breaching this rule may be asked to remove koi from their vat and return them home.

• Vats will be a combination of 6ft and 8ft vats and will be allocated at the time of booking according to the number and size of fish being exhibited.

• The show chairman reserves the right to change the vat allocated should the koi bought to the show be different to that stated on the vat application form.
